The Honolulu Marathon Japan Secretariat has started accepting pre-entry for the “Honolulu Marathon 2021” scheduled to be held in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 12th from June 4th.
The target is the full marathon, full marathon wheelchair competition section, 10K run & walk, and Kalakaua Merry Mile, and the pre-entry period is scheduled for mid-September.
The full marathon is a seaside course that starts in front of Ala Moana Park, turns back at Hawaii Kai via Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head, and finishes at Kapiolani Park. ing. The 10K Run & Walk will finish at Kapiolani Park, 10 kilometers from the full marathon course. The Kalakaua Merry Mile is a fun run event that starts on Monsarat Road in front of Honolulu Zoo, runs west on Kalakaua Road, turns back, and runs a mile to Queen’s Beach.
The full marathon wheelchair competition section will start at 4:55 am, the full marathon and 10K run & walk will start at 5 am, and the Kalakaua Merry Mile will start at 7 am. Only 7 years old and over can participate in the full marathon.
The entry fee for the Japanese reception is 28,000 yen for the full marathon and 10,000 yen for the 10K run & walk. An administrative fee of 5% is required separately. We will also give you a souvenir.
Considering the infection status of the new coronavirus, the outline of the tournament may be changed and a capacity may be set. If there is a capacity, you can enter on a first-come, first-served basis. With pre-entry, you can register without paying the fee. The entry fee will be paid in early October.
In addition, a gift campaign will be held in which 1,800 people who have completed pre-entry by July 31 will win the “Mizuno Honolulu Marathon T-shirt”.
The online running event “Honolulu Marathon Virtual Beach Festival 2021” will also be held and will be announced as soon as it is decided.
