The 37th edition of the Zurich Maratón de Sevilla is to be expected. The race scheduled for November 14 after being postponed from its usual date in February will not finally be held, as confirmed today by the organization and the city council of the capital of Seville. The reason? The danger to economic viability that, according to them, would mean holding two such consecutive editions, less than four months apart: the one postponed to November and the next, which returns to its usual calendar on February 20, 2020.

The City Council also recalled that the reconfiguration of the municipal sports calendar includes the celebration of the P arche Infanta Elena of the Eastern District-Alcosa-Torreblanca race that same November 14 and that on September 24 the Guadalquivir Night Race will be held .
