An old man was killed in a car crash in Gulistan

An old man named Abdul Ali (65) died in a road accident at Gulistan in the capital. He was hit by a car in Golap Shah Mazar area on Monday afternoon. He died at Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Hospital in the afternoon.

According to police sources, Abdul Ali was seriously injured when he was hit by a car while crossing the road. He was rescued and admitted to Dhamek Hospital. The driver fled with the car after being pushed.

Meanwhile, two more people died in road accidents in Rampura and Gulshan areas of the capital. They are Adnan Shakib (26) and Abdul Latif (48). Rampura Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Sajjad Hossain said Adnan was seriously injured when he was hit by a covered van while crossing the road near Rampura TV Center this afternoon. He later died at the hospital.

According to Gulshan police station sources, Abdul Latif has a vegetable shop in Narda area of ​​Bhatara. He went to Karwan Bazaar from home on Sunday night to buy raw materials. From there he was returning to the shop in a covered van. The vehicle lost control and collided with a roadside island in Gulshan-2 area. Abdul Latif fell from the car and sustained serious head injuries. When he was taken to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead.
