Angel Reese’s mom says young people are breaking into her DMs thinking she’s an LSU star

Some fans may be taking March Madness too far.

LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese had to take to social media after fans began messaging her mother — also named Angel — on Twitter.

After the Lady Tigers’ 54-42 win to reach the NCAA Tournament Final Four on Sunday, the elder Angel took to Twitter and said she was getting date requests from men in their 20s who thought it was her. his daughter

“FYI…I’m Angel Reese the mom, not the LSUwbb player,” Reese wrote. “Please keep in mind when you tag and/or email me that your intention is not my daughter.

“I’ve been getting a crazy amount of date requests from men my kids’ age, and they clearly think they’re sending it to Lil A based on the content of the message.”

Young Reese tweeted her mom and wrote, “You’re not my mom swiping on dms,” with a skull emoji.

Elder Reese replied, “I know when they start with ‘Hey Bayou Barbie.’

In another tweet he added: “Obviously these (twenty-one year olds) are confused about who they are sending.”
