Throughout the month of March there was a war between Russia and Ukraine. Which has had a negative impact on the whole world. However, even in such a situation, the positive trend of increasing the export income of the country has continued.
In the third month of March this year, Bangladeshi exporters brought in ৭৬ 482.2 million (4.6 billion) worth of foreign exchange by exporting various products. Export earnings have increased in almost all sectors, not just readymade garments.
At the current exchange rate (8 rupees 20 paise) this amount is more than 41 thousand crore rupees.
As such, this time the export income is 55 percent more than in March last year.
The export target for this month was set at ৪ 354.60 billion. In March last year, the revenue from the export of goods was 306 crore 70 million dollars.
The country’s exporters earned ৮ 36.70 billion in the nine months of July-March, the fiscal year. This number is almost equal to the whole period of last financial year i.e. 12 months.
According to sources, in the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2021-22 (July-March), the country has an export income of 36.70 billion dollars (3,660.56 million dollars). This income is almost equal to the whole period of last financial year (12 months, July 2020 to June 2021).

Those concerned hope that if this positive trend continues for the remaining three months of the financial year, this time the export revenue will cross the ৫০ 50 billion milestone and Bangladesh will make history in the export trade.
