In the last 24 hours, 304 more cases of coronavirus have been identified in the country. Of these, 262 are residents of Dhaka district. With this, the total number of patients identified as Corona has increased to 19 lakh 55 thousand 731 people.

However, in the last 24 hours, no one has died in the country due to corona. As a result, the death toll did not rise. So far 29,131 people have lost their lives due to corona in the country.

This information has been given in the regular press release on tax sent from the Department of Health on Saturday.

According to the notification, a total of 5,035 samples were collected from all over the country in the last 24 hours. During this time 5 thousand 122 samples were tested. In contrast to the sample test, the detection rate was 5.94 percent.

Since the onset of the epidemic in the country, the total detection rate has been 13.7 percent. In addition, the recovery rate was 96.44 percent and the death rate was 1.49 percent.

In the last 24 hours, 48 ​​people have recovered from Corona. So far 19 lakh 5 thousand 758 people have recovered from this.

Incidentally, on March 6, 2020, the first coronavirus patient was identified in the country. Ten days later, on March 17 of the same year, the Department of Health announced the first death in the country due to corona virus.

Meanwhile, on May 30, the Department of Health reported the death of one person in the last corona. Earlier on May 23, two people were killed in Corona.
