Japan started the World Cup by defeating Germany

Saudi Arabia created a sensation by beating two-time world champions Argentina 2-1 on Tuesday. And on Wednesday, another Asian country, Japan, defeated four-time champion Germany by the same margin. The Asian team started their World Cup journey with a great victory in the ‘E’ group match at the Khalifa International Stadium in Al Rayyan.

Germany took the lead in the first half with a goal from Elke Gundogan.

Japan made a great comeback in the second half. Ritsu Doan equalized for Japan in the 75th minute. Japan went ahead with the second goal in the 82nd minute. Itakuna’s long pass from the right reaches the feet of Takuma Asano. Go past one into the D box. Then Asano scored a perfect shot. Japan left the field with the victory as there were no more goals in the rest of the match.

Earlier, the German footballers started the match by protesting FIFA’s decision not to wear the ‘Onelove armband’ in support of the gay movement. Müller-Gundogan stood with their hands covering their faces while taking a group photo before the match. Who cannot open his mouth for fear of prohibition; This is how they explained it.

Homosexual relationships and their promotion are strictly prohibited under Qatar’s Islamic Sharia law. Severe punishment is prescribed for this. Even in the World Cup, Qatar did not make concessions in this regard. FIFA has stood in favor of this decision of the host country. And this is what footballers from different countries are all about.
