LeBron James suggested he wasn’t exactly sold on the talent level of some NBA players as he praised his son Bronny’s talent while weighing his next collegiate move.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar tweeted that he was tuning into NBA League Pass to catch some of the action. James has been sidelined with a foot injury.

“Man Bronny, definitely better than some of these cats I saw going through the league today,” James wrote. “S— ridiculously light.”
James is obviously playing the father card to promote his talented son, and while he’s one of the best high school players in the country, comparing him to the elite players in professional basketball is a bit far-fetched.

James himself is a generational talent, and it’s very rare for a player of his caliber to achieve the level of success he did, and he’s also struggled with NBA Finals appearances.
Bronny James is listed as a four-star recruit, according to 247 Sports’ rankings. He stars at Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles and has received offers from three schools so far: Memphis, Ohio State and USC.

It’s unclear where Bronny James will attend school, but a decision should be made soon. He could even choose to play in the G League and skip college altogether like his famous father.
