TRUMP HAS CHANGED HUSH PAYMENTS AFTER TEST IN MANHATTAN
SEAN HANNITY: Former President Donald J. Trump has been indicted by the New York Criminal Court. He will be arraigned in Manhattan next week. We are told it will probably be Tuesday. Fake news reports that CNN could face more than 30 indictments. In a statement, Trump said: “Political harassment and election interference at the highest level in history. Ever since I stepped down the golden escalator at Trump Tower and even before I was sworn in as your President of the United States, the radical left. The Democrats, the enemies of the working men and women of this country, the Witch. They have been on a hunt to destroy the Make America Great Again movement. You remember as I do: Russia, Russia, Russia; Mueller Hoax. ; Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine; impeachment fraud one, impeachment fraud two; Mar-a-Lago attack illegal and unconstitutional; and now this.”
TRUMP IMPeachment: LIVE UPDATES
He is right. After years of partisan witch hunts, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg has thrown the rule of law to the winds for a little political revenge, and has now taken the criminalization of political differences to a whole new level. This is repulsive. It is a disgusting political success, the likes of which we have never seen in this country. It never happened. Now Pandora’s box is officially open. We have a new era of political revenge and a gun justice system upon us all. And tonight, the exact charges — they’re saying as many as 34 — aren’t known, but they appear to stem from what we call an innovative legal theory employed by the far-left DA. What to criminalize Alvin Bragg? A seven-year statute of limitations on the undisclosed deal, investigated to death, rejected by the DOJ, the Mueller investigation, the FEC, Bragg’s predecessors, and initially Bragg himself. This is not a strong case by any stretch of the imagination, and frankly, no fair, honest, or honorable DA would ever bring these charges, or in the words of James Comey’s infamous words, no reasonable prosecutor would ever prosecute such a trifle. weak case
