Shane McMahon appears to have a serious knee injury during his WrestleMania 39 appearance

Shane McMahon made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 39, but it didn’t go as planned.

McMahon, who has not been on WWE television since January 2022, made a surprise return to take on The Miz in a one-off match. Just like Saturday night, Snoop Dogg brought The Miz into the match. McMahon came out and thanked the crowd for the reception.

The Miz went into the ropes and jumped over him as he ran across the ring. When McMahon landed, he appeared to injure his knee and it didn’t appear to be part of any angle.

With McMahon in control, Snoop Dogg had to improvise and entered the match. He nailed The Miz with a right hand.

Snoop Dogg then did The People’s Elbow and The Miz in a chaotic scene to get the win.

It was unclear how serious McMahon’s knee injury was. He tried to get up but struggled before the referee and trainer came to control him and get him out of the ring.

For the second night in a row, The Miz entered an impromptu match, even though he served as the host of WrestleMania at SoFi Stadium.

On Saturday, San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle was sitting with his wife when The Miz came to talk trash to the tight-knit group of superstars en route to a second straight Super Bowl. After Kittle refused, The Miz pushed Kittle back into his seat.

Kittle took off his jacket and jumped the bar. He gave the wrestler a vicious clothesline and set up McAfee to do a spin on The Miz and take him out. McAfee would win the match and he and Kittle would celebrate in the ring.
