The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia congratulated the Prime Minister of Great Britain on the National Day. The Platinum anniversary of the Queen’s enthronement is celebrated

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Boris Johnson on the occasion of the National Day. As reported by the RA Prime Minister’s Office, the message reads:

“Your Excellency,

I warmly congratulate you, the friendly people of the United Kingdom, on the country’s national holiday, the Queen’s birthday, and the anniversary of her enthronement, Platine.

This year is also symbolic for the Armenian-British relations, because 30 years ago we started the Armenian-British interstate relations, anchored on democratic values, practical interests and mutual respect.

Armenia builds on its relationship with the United Kingdom over the past three decades, appreciates the United Kingdom ‘s support for the ongoing democratic reforms in our country, and the strengthening of the rule of law. I am full of hope that with joint efforts in the coming years we will be able to fill the Armenian-British bilateral agenda with new initiatives and programs for the benefit of our states and friendly peoples.

I wish Your Excellency good health and fruitful activity, and the friendly people of the United Kingdom progress and prosperity. “
