A man was undermined with a weapon by a tooled-up hooligan who tossed him to the ground during an alarming theft.
The 39-year-old was assaulted at the rear of shops on Buchan Road in Fraserburgh at around 7pm on Sunday night.
Officials have been completing house to house enquiries nearby in a bid to follow the supposed aggressor.
He is portrayed as being white, around 5ft 10 to 6ft tall, of a thin to medium form and has light earthy colored hair.

He was wearing pants and a light shaded shirt at the hour of the burglary.
Criminal investigator Constable Ross McDonald, Ellon CID, said: “During the attack the harmed man supported minor wounds.
“Albeit this assault happened to the back of the shops, the region is disregarded by various homes.
