Ruard van Renen, who has been taking P2Life Nutritional supplements daily for well over a year, has just completed a year most swimmers can only dream of having.

Ruard, a freshman swimming for Southern Illinois University, was unknown a year ago. But that was before he made an unprecedented drop in the 100-yard backstroke, going from 47.87 to a blazing 44.67, to win the Consolation finals at the NCAA’s Championships last week in yet another PB.

That time took Ruard’s US ranking from 227th in 2022 to 6th in just five months.

But his incredible improvement doesn’t stop there. Since last October Ruard has also dropped over two seconds in the 100-yard freestyle, recently blasting a speedy 42.33. Add a quick 46.1 in the 100-yard butterfly to his repertoire and you start to understand why heads are turning!

His performance at the NCAAs was a major talking point amongst coaches, swimmers and TV commentators. Ruard is no longer unknown, especially after recently announcing he was entering the transfer portal – Ruard now has every college coach in the US drooling over the thought of getting him on their team. His backstroke prowess is already guaranteed to add valuable NCAA points.

But based on his incredible improvements in free and fly as well, his value can only increase.

Ruard joins the new breed of superb and successful young swimmers such as Katie Grimes, Katharine Berkoff, Matt Sates and Pieter Coetze who have each seen tremendous improvements in their swimming performance since adding P2Life Nutritional Supplements to their daily dietary routines.

Ruard loves his P2Life, recently commenting “P2Life definitely made me feel stronger inside and outside the pool”.

Ruard is headed back to South Africa to compete in the RSA Nationals and World Championship trials from April 12 – 16. Ruard, coached by the talented and highly regarded young coach Keith Jansen, will swim with fellow P2Life Ambassadors World Record Holder Matt Sates, 2023 South African Sportsman of the Year Pieter Coetze, and a host of other South African young swim stars.

Ruard’s recent performances promise PB’s in South Africa. The only question is – just how fast will Ruard swim? Ruard’s lifetime best 100 LCM backstroke is 57.04 from 2022; Coming off his 44.67 100-yard time at NCAAs he promises to demolish that time and have a great race with fellow P2Life swimmer Pieter Coetze, who won the World Junior Swim Champs last year.

The evidence is clear; an increasing number of swimmers are taking P2Life, and they’re consistently achieving Personal Best Times as they move up the World Swim Rankings.

As P2Life Founder and International Swimming Hall of Fame Inductee Tim Shead Explains. The ability to consistently train hard, improve, become a world caliber athlete, ultimately depends on the level of HEALTH of the athlete.

Everyone knows you won’t swim your best when sick. Nor when you are in hard training. Only when you taper and rest, or more simply put, when you maximize your health, are you able to also maximize performance.

Given that simple fact, the only way to maximize your health, train consistently hard day after day, and ultimately improve your performance, is to make sure your body has every nutrient it needs 24/7/365.

That is exactly why P2Life Nutritional supplements were developed, and what they accomplish. And P2Life does it in three critically important ways.

First, P2Life supplements are nutritionally dense and complete, supplying every nutrient the human body needs. So complete you could literally survive and thrive taking just P2Life. Given the tremendous daily nutritional needs of a swimmer, P2Life is guaranteed to fill any nutritional deficiencies that may exist from one’s daily eating routine.

Secondly, P2Life supplies additional important nutrients not found in normal foods, nutrients proven to safely and effectively increase your health and performance. If you dont supplement – you wont get these important health, strength, recovery and performance assisting nutrients.

And third, P2Life nutritional supplements do not bulk up an athlete or supply unnecessary calories. A swimmer must increase strength and power without gaining size or weight which greatly increases water resistance. P2Life promotes lean, powerful bodies that knife through the water.

P2Life Nutritional supplements are not magic! They are made up of concentrated, complete, highest quality nutrients that will help elevate and enhance your health, helping your body consistently train harder, recover faster, gain strength without bulking, and develop better stamina, all of which help insure you to achieve magical performances.

Ruard, like Katie, Katharine, Matt and Pieter are just a few clear examples of this fact. As fast as they are all, they are still very young and their best is definitely yet to come.

It is simple; if you are not taking P2Life, you will be beaten by someone who is.

P2Life Nutrition was founded by Tim Shead, a Swimming Hall of Fame inductee, past US National Head Swim Coach, involved in the formation of USA Swimming, and current Masters swimmer with over 45 World records. Importantly Tim practices what he preaches, he has taken P2Life products for over 40 years and had lifetime best times at 55 years of age, faster than when he attempted to make the US Olympic team in 1976 as a 20+ year old.
